Mountain Insurance Services has been loyally serving New Mexico's Insurance needs since 1988. We are located in Cedar Crest, NM just 15 miles East of Albuquerque. Recently, we have added another location in Nevada, this office is in Las Vegas just 7 miles West of the Las Vegas Strip. We specialize in Personal and Business Insurance. We Represent many A+ rated Insurance Carriers such as Safeco and Liberty Mutual. Our friendly, knowledgeable and local staff has over 30 years of experience in the industry. Meet the Team
Susan Walker
Susan Walker is the Founder of Mountain Insurance Services. She started the company in New Mexico in 1988. Susan has well over 35 years of experience in the industry. She has received many customer service and agency awards over the years such as; the Award of Excellence, Safeco H.K Dent Award, and the Safeco Presidents Award. Susan is an active member of the community she has served as President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer for The East Mountain Chamber of Commerce. She was the chairman for large Chamber sponsored Events such as the East Mountain Rendezvous, and Breakfast with Santa to name a few. Susan also currently holds a Board member seat for the East Mountain Community Theater. She also serves as a member of the Safeco Agency Council. Through Susan's hard work and guidance Mountain Insurance has found itself as a Safeco Premier Partner and a leading Safeco agency in the Mountain Region. Susan is the Principle Producer in the New Mexico location. As a New Mexico resident for 32 years Susan is in touch with the community, and very knowledgeable of market changes and insurance needs. Susan’s dedication and experience allows her to provide insurance companies with direct feedback of what clients want from there insurance policies. You can count on her being an advocate of your Insurance needs and questions.
Morgan Walker

Morgan Walker has worked with Mountain Insurance since 2001. During her years of service, she has worked in a managerial operational role in addition to working as the primary Service Representative. Morgan's background in Sales and Marketing have proven her to be a vital member of the organization. Morgan is a member of the Safeco Panel, and she has participated in numerous training programs through Safeco, Travelers, Liberty Mutual and Progressive Insurance Companies. Morgan was a key member in the opening of the Nevada location and expansion of the agency. As the primary Service Representative for both personal and commercial business Morgan splits her time between the New Mexico and Nevada locations. Since she is knowledgeable in multiple markets, she is available to answer questions concerns as well as assist with any issues you may have.
Andrew Cadena
Andrew Cadena has worked with Mountain Insurance since 2013. Andrew came to the organization with a strong background in operations management and sales from his time in the Medical Administration fields. Andrew is the Principle Producer for the Nevada location. He was instrumental in opening the Nevada location. Andrew has attained his insurance certificates for the Safeco Producer program and Liberty Mutual Producer program each specializing in insurance sales and service. In addition to his Insurance education Andrew has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance, and an Associate’s Degree in Spanish. He is highly qualified to assist you in properly covering your assets and family.
